0 is 20 Hz, and 1 is a touch over 20 kHz. Fruity Parametric EQ 2's filter frequency parameter takes a value between 0 and 1, to 3 decimal places (so for example 0.023). I specifically wanted to do this for FL Studio, and I discovered that with Fruity Keyboard Controller (Channel's>Add one) one can remote control knobs or sliders, sending one's chosen value to a parameter depending on which key is sequenced in a midi track. Essentially key-tracked filtering, just with the filter being several filters, and those filters being on an external equalizer, rather than the synth it's self.Īnswers there helped me get to the solution in the end (so thanks to those who replied), and I thought I might come back and share it. A few days ago I posted a question about having an EQ shifting according to the note being played by an instrument passing through it (I can't link to it, because I hardly ever post here).
